Creating kür music starts with clear, high-quality video footage. If you prefer to film your freestyle yourself, follow these tips to make sure we receive everything we need to create the perfect soundtrack for your ride.
1. Always hold your phone horizontally
This gives a wide view of the arena and ensures we can see your full horse in motion.
2. Keep the horse fully in frame
It’s especially important that the legs and hooves are visible at all times. The rhythm of the footwork helps us align the music precisely with each step.
3. Set your phone to 4K and 50 or 60 FPS
This provides the best video quality and ensures smooth playback, which is essential for musical timing.
Apple (iPhone):
Go to Settings > Camera > Record Video and choose “4K at 60 fps”.
Samsung (Android):
Open the Camera app > tap the Settings icon > go to Rear Video Size > select “UHD 60 fps” or “4K 60 fps”.
4. Keep it smooth.
Either place your phone on a tripod or have someone with a steady hand do the filming. Make sure the camera follows the movement naturally and smoothly. And always keeps the hooves in frame!
