At Music & Motions, we believe that every freestyle deserves music that’s as unique as the rider and horse performing it. Creating kür music is a detailed and personal process .
From the first meeting to the final delivery. On this page, we walk you through each step we take to develop tailor-made dressage music that fits your choreography, enhances your performance, and tells your story in sound.
We begin with a personal online meeting to discuss your wishes, riding style, musical preferences, and the character of your horse. This first conversation lays the foundation for a freestyle that truly reflects you and your performance. Schedule your meeting via our contact page.
To compose music that fits your performance, we need a clear video of your freestyle. You can either record the video yourself using our guidelines, or have us take care of the filming. In that case, we use multiple cameras to capture every detail of your ride with care and precision.
Once we’ve received your video and discussed your musical direction, we begin composing. Based on your style and preferences, we assign your project to the producer whose sound best matches your story. Every beat, transition, and tempo is crafted to align with your horse’s movement and choreography.
During the process, we share previews with you so you can hear how your kür is taking shape. This is your opportunity to give feedback, suggest adjustments, and make sure the music truly fits your style. Together, we fine-tune every detail until it feels just right.
Once the music is fully approved, we deliver your kür in the format that suits you best. You can choose to receive it digitally via our cloud service, in person on USB or CD at an event or competition, or have it shipped to your address. Whatever option you choose, your custom freestyle will be ready for the arena.
